What drives demand in Newark?
Four things, and none of them look like a backyard party. Port Newark and the container terminals on the bay. Newark Liberty International Airport and its constant landside construction. The rail and road corridors feeding both. And a downtown with real event traffic around the Prudential Center and NJPAC.
That mix means most Newark orders are long-duration and equipment-heavy rather than single weekend drops. The construction site services page covers what usually goes out together.
Port and industrial placements
These are the easiest deliveries we make anywhere. Gate, yard, hard standing, a truck that can turn around. Usually a same-week booking with no municipal approval involved at all, because none of it touches the public right of way.

OSHA 1926.51(c)(1) requires one toilet per 20 workers on a construction site running a 40-hour week, counted by people on site rather than by employer, which on a large port job means the order is usually four or more units rather than one. Size it with how many porta potties you need.
The Ironbound is a different customer entirely
Newark's Ironbound district runs on restaurants, and restaurants generate a service need most construction customers never think about. A grease trap that has not been pumped is a shutdown waiting to happen, and it is not something a porta potty company usually mentions. We do grease trap pumping on the same routing as everything else.
Street closures and festivals through the district are the other Ironbound job, and those need event restroom rental sized on the crowd rather than the crew. Plan on one unit per 50 guests over four hours, plus 15 to 20 percent when alcohol is served.
What about events at Branch Brook Park?
Branch Brook Park draws its biggest crowds in spring for the cherry blossom bloom, and park events run on the county's permissions rather than ours, so start there and come to us with the approved footprint. When you have it, the sizing rule above applies, and any public-facing cluster includes an ADA accessible unit, because the 2010 ADA Standards section 213.2 exception 4 sets 5 percent of a cluster as the accessible share with a minimum of one.
Larger downtown events usually want restroom trailers rather than banks of single units, and those are priced by stall count. Festival restrooms covers the street-closure version.
What does delivery cost at 16.3 miles?
$90 to $175 into Newark. Industrial and port addresses sit at the bottom of that band because the access is straightforward. Downtown street placements and anything needing a timed window sit at the top. Weekly service is included on every rental, and ANSI/PSAI Z4.3 sets weekly servicing as the minimum for a unit in normal use. Busy sites move to two or three visits a week, because a standard unit holds 60 to 70 gallons on manufacturer spec and that works out at roughly 200 to 250 uses before it needs pumping. Newark permits are Newark's, not New York's
A unit on a New York City street or sidewalk needs a Department of Transportation permit issued through a borough office, with turnaround from about a day to several weeks. Newark has no part in that system. The city runs its own street opening and obstruction approvals through its own departments, and the lead time is set locally.
