The port makes access easy and scheduling hard
Terminal and warehouse addresses are simple placements. Hard standing, gates a truck can reverse through, no municipal approval because nothing sits on public right of way. What they are not is flexible. Security procedures, gate hours and traffic on the terminal approaches decide when we can actually be there.
So we book Elizabeth deliveries by day and confirm the gate the morning of. That is more reliable than promising a window we cannot control.
What does delivery cost at 19.9 miles?

How many units does the crew need, and do they need a sink?
OSHA 1926.51(c)(1) requires one toilet per 20 workers on a construction site running a 40-hour week, counted by people present rather than by employer. OSHA 1910.141(d)(2) sets the washing facility requirement for general industry work, which is the clause that applies inside an operating warehouse rather than on a build. Between them, a sink is on most Elizabeth orders whether or not anyone asked for one.
A portable sink holds roughly 15 to 22 gallons of fresh water on manufacturer spec, which is about 200 to 300 uses before a refill. Size the whole order with how many porta potties you need and check the rules on OSHA portable toilet requirements.
Permits are a Union County matter, not a New York one
A unit on a New York City street or sidewalk needs a Department of Transportation permit issued through a borough office, with turnaround from about a day to several weeks. Elizabeth is outside that system entirely. The city issues its own street and right of way approvals on its own timeline, and most of what we deliver here never touches public right of way anyway.
